You might say that the Ottawa Senators Foundation is in the business of helping people. In fact, you would be correct to say that one of their official mandates is to focus on assisting youth and the youth at-risk. Both are true, but what is key is that the Foundation is in the business of supporting a young community as it works its way through their "growing pains". This involves not only providing financial support to charities that require funding but also providing goods and services to those who require help with their own fundraising efforts. Whether networking like-minded groups into teams or providing guidance to others who just need to freshen-up their ideas, the Ottawa Senators Foundation is multifaceted enough to give a hand-up when needed. Located in the heart of the nation's capital, across from Confederation Square and Parliament Hill, the National Arts Centre (NAC) is among the largest performing arts complexes in Canada. The only multidisciplinary, bilingual performing arts centre in North America, the NAC focuses on artistic excellence, diversity, and youth. The NAC produces full seasons of music, dance, English and French theatre and variety, and is home to the internationally acclaimed 46-member National Arts Centre Orchestra and music director Pinchas Zukerman.
